How is it that members of the same clan are on opposing sides? Noticed this happening lately, too often to be random, is this kosher?
because clans do not exists outside some discord and pretty much on papers / words.
people just rename their gaijin nickname to include the clan “”““tag””“”.
but even in war thunder you can play against other members from your own clan.
up until clan battles will be implemented ( and considering the new Cm, it’s a guaranteed probability ) clan members will be in the base matchmaking sometimes facing each other, or playing with other fellow clan members.
which in the base matchmaker it is random.

if you queued right after last battle, you may get same players in next match. otherwise i have never noticed same clan in both teams.
could be random MM, could be sync drop(people press battle at same time for higher possibility to get into same match).
