I really dont like how the addition of Normandy and the Ardness/Hurtgen(?) to the BR I and II map rotation Have diluted the whole Italian experience in game I so rarely see Tunisa anymore.
BR I and II continue to be dominated by the P38G and I continue to see IV Rank Kit in my BR I and II matches.
I Prefer the Earlier Kit I would like to be able to play matches where you can have fun with the different kit we have.
They Really need to add Italy as a separate faction so we can just Play North Africa and Russia with them, Honestly I could stand just play NA all the time, but I suspect they would throw Russian maps into there line as well.
As far as I know Normandy is the most popular scenario for casual ww2 fans.
I suspect they added Normandy/Bulge to BR 1 and 2 so new players could access those maps right away.
But I feel you, I like the Tunisia maps a lot as well. Gotta hope for some form of map selection/preference system at some point.
I never cared for the Normandy Maps there to small and CQB oriented and not vehicle friendly, the Tunisa maps are much better balanced apart from the Kalif Village cluster F$#%$ map.
I disagree, i really hate the Tunisia maps, you get sniped from the other end of the map. I think the Normandy have a good balance between open and CQB maps, while i think the Moscow maps have a lot of small CQB maps that im not a big fan of aswell.
There never going to make everyone happy, before we could at least choose what maps we wanted to a certain extant, now I spend most of day playing on maps I donāt really care for at all.
And for me itās worse now they have included the dreaded Normandy maps in BR I and II match ups.
War Thunder once had an option (im not sure it still does, i havent played it for a long time).
Premium players could choose 2 maps they were less likely to go to, and 2 maps they were more likely to go to, im a bit unsure if my numbers are correct. But i would love to see that option here aswell.
I would also love a āprefered game modeā option.
Im a German main and im so sick and tired of being on defence constantly, especially when we have battle tasks like ācapture 1 pointā.
They just need to get rid of defend only maps. Confrontations (the one where both sides can cap and defend) are almost always superior, outside of some singular, very poorly balanced cap zones (tbh they are as annoying when doing invasion mode anyway)
Yeah and it was fun when it first arrivedā¦ heck even when I went back to finish Germans a few months agoā¦ not so much at BR2 tho - again with so much of the merge the āfeelā is just FUBARed
Yes, separate Italy and GB from Germany and US, but the P38G is a little bit overrated and I donāt think itās ādominatingā any BR to be honest.
Itās an extremely capable plane, but so far most of the people I fight that are flying it seem hell bent on horizontally turn fighting things like the Zero
