Have any of you seen images of a BT, a T-28 or any early soviet tank fitted with a radio antenna? It’s the thing that looks like a big pipe around the turret that some tanks had. I just think it looks really cool and its a shame that none of the models have a radio antenna. If anything, the gold order T-28 should have had it. I really hope that when the gold order BT-7 and T-26 finally appear, they have radio antennae mounted for purely aesthetic purposes.
Quite sure the soviets didn’t have radio on their tanks at that time or was rarely used. Only with the introduction of the T-34 series they started adding them.
They did have, but rarely
I use this post to ask this question i wonder since a long time:
Radio operator in tanks are useless, right?
He is not useless, he is spare part.
Not if you get an infantry radio op to call Artie from the safety of a tank
Pretty sure the BA-11 in game has one, helps contribute to its adorable derpyness.
I refer specifically to the radio antennae that could be found on some of the early soviet tanks like on some T-28 and BTs. It does not look like a regular radio antenna, it almost looks like a metal bar bent into the shape of a horseshoe held around the back and sides of the turret.
They do look cool, could be added as BP gold vehicles.
