The RPzB. 43 Ofenrohr is a beast, if you know how to use it right.
First and foremost, it takes a lot of practice to become an effective AT soldier at long ranges. And this applies to all AT rifles/launchers for all factions/campaigns. Whether it’s a Sturmpistol (which can 1-shot Jumbo tanks), or Piats (which can kill Tiger tanks), or low-tier Panzerfaust, or single-round AT rifles… they are all effective, but each takes practice (in the context of learning the weak-spots for each vehicle, and being able to hit these spots from greater and greater distances.
I mostly play as the Germans (across all the campaigns), and my favorite AT weapon is the RPzB. 43 Ofenrohr.
Here are some video clips from the past few days, demonstrating the effectiveness of this weapon (in the hands of a veteran player).
Grey Zone tanks are can easily be remedied by players who have an AT soldier available, and are willing to take the time to get into correct positioning to engage enemy armor.
Tip 1:
If you can’t destroy the tank, at least disable it’s tracks. Which will allow you an opportunity to get into better positioning, and/or kill the tank-crew as they exit the vehicle for repairs.
Tip 2:
Before engaging a tank with your AT soldier, it’s very helpful to mark the tank. Especially at long-distances, because as you elevate your weapon for a higher-trajectory, you can use the tank’s icon to line-up your shot.
Once you fire the weapon, keep track of the angle that you fired the weapon from, and watch down-range for the explosion. If the rocket explodes infront of the vehicle, slightly adjust your aim upward from the previous, and shoot again… Keep adjusting your angle, until you start landing hits on the vehicle.
Be careful not to adjust your aim/position while you’re reloading.
Tip 3: It’s okay if you do not destroy a tank. If the tank has a crew capacity of 5 soldiers, and you can kill at least two of them, then you’ll eliminate the tank’s loader position, and reduce the cannon’s rate of fire. If you can kill three of the tank-members, then the player is significantly handicapped.
Tip 4:
If you have headphones, you can listen/hear the engines of enemy tanks, and can easily track their location before you are able to visible see them. And if you listen closely, you can discern the engine sound of enemy/friendly vehicles, and the type of vehicle.

The American Bazooka’s/Launchers are just as effective, if you know how to hit Axis tank weak spots.
