Roll back whatever was done to HE weaponry, many things are completely unusable right now

We are playing on Xbox, and whatever was done with the HE weaponry OVERALL has absolutely screwed a lot of things up. I can understand the 5 degrees and the shell will bounce part, but this is a whole different issue altogether.

All shell types 40mm+ are only doing damage about half the time. Bombs are killing some enemies that are FURTHER away than others that are directly next to it. Even DIRECT hits with 75mm field guns are only getting white hit markers.

My buddy used to absolutely wreck with the Hurricane Mk4 on Tunisia. I’ve been waiting for it to come up for sale, and now that the Christmas sale is going on, I purchased it. Imagine my surprise when I’m dropping 40mm cannon shells directly into enemy swarms and not even getting hit markers.

Field gun shells that previously worked great against infantry are only hurting infantry about 25% of the time when it blows up within 3 feet of them.

I’m working on getting the clips. This is beyond infuriating though.

Sidenote: I was told by a fellow player that he suspected it was done to get more people to use the HMG. If this is true, PLEASE fix it ASAP. Plenty of people use the HMG as is. It has its uses. However, so does explosive weaponry that currently seem to have less firepower than a hand grenade.

I did some videos already in Berlin, as with it’s big calibers it shows bad things in update pretty clear. It’s left only to remove odd sounds and voices and add it to bugreport
In short:
-too much ricochets, especially with engineer guns
-broken damage on some surfaces like asphalt in Berlin
-some kind of overpressure which allows even low pen guns like M3 smash Panthers or Shermans, while AP settings (especially on nonexplosive APs) are still quite bad

id say direct hit with HE to infantry still works, maybe the radius is slightly smaller than used to be idk.
bouncing / not detonating is just way too extreme as it is.
