There are a few rocket artillery vehicles that are Premium. There should be RA vehicles in the Research Tree so they are added to the variety of vehicle types.

I dont like being negative about others posts but please no.

That German halftrack rocket thing already in game as premium is really annoying.

Likewise Sherman Calliope and others.

Ive used Katyusha in Roblox (yes roblox, deal with it), and test driven in War Thunder.

While its a very cool vehicle, its not really practical for games like these. Its not great for shooting tanks (it wasnt really designed for that anyway), while anti infantry youd really need something like the bulge maps where youre on a ridge just firing at big open plains at helpless infantry which to me is OP especially when operating in the greyzone.

I just think there’s a lot more vehicles we’d all rather see in the game first like TT halftracks, jeeps, more trucks, maybe even bulldozers to clear paths through all the generated junk lying around + trees and remove tank hulks in the way.

This is a war game
So I defend the diversity of ways to die (whether it’s through tactics or equipment or marksmanship)

Strictly speaking, you only need an aircraft or an anti-tank rifle or any anti-vehicle solution to disable the launcher or directly destroy these vehicles.
they are never scary
The scary thing is that you are unwilling to fight it

The scary thing is that people who think they are wargaming want to use experimental prototypes and artillery weapons on a map that’s 1km long :frowning:

But the combat range of tanks in the game is usually within 300 meters.
And players are fully capable of destroying them in a short time with the corresponding equipment instead of letting them continue to massacre friendly forces.

The important thing is whether they are willing to do it or not
if they are unwilling to fight back
So isn’t it natural to be killed?

The USSR also has a rocket tank. The BM-8-24 (based on T-60).
If it is great? No idea…
