Riflemen need buffs

Assaulters have the privilege to use submachine guns.
Engineers have the ability to construct structures.
Signaller can request various artillery fires.
Other classes also have advantages. Except for riflemen only.

The slot it occupies is 1 just like any other class, and it uses the same weapons as any other class.
Bags and secondary armaments can also be upgraded and used for other classes. The rifleman has nothing.

The only difference is that it can be equipped with a rifle grenades.
But it doesn’t get a noticeable score.
It is impossible to supply from Armorbox, and it is impossible to even increase the number of cartridges with ammunition bags.

Just one incompetent soldier. They are mostly less favored than other classes. Riflemen are abandoned when squad upgrades allow other classes to be recruited.
But in real war they were very important fighters.

Even in Stalingrad, there was news that even automatic rifles could not be used.

Rifleman should be able to use a large number of people, even in other squads.
Or you have to buff the rifle grenades.
Or in any other direction I didn’t suggest.

I am grateful to those who read despite my poor English skills.

True, currently riflemen dont excel at anything besides having a larger squad. I’ve always thought they should have something special besides the dumb rifle grenades

They good till Semi-auto nerf.

It was the same with any other useful class that could use a rifle. Rifleman always performed poorly.

just wait until they add fg42 with rifle grenades

Oof

simplest way to buff would be separating the secondary gun and backpack upgrades in the rifleman squad upgrade tree, so they would still be the avarage filer troop but also get to carry both a secondary and a backpack wich would make them much more versatile (being able to carry a grenade rifle and a normal rifle)

Bolties will get boosted in Stalingrad. Riflemen won’t be pushovers anymore, especially with players using bolties a lot.

Unfortunately, bolties can also be used with other classes…

This right here is a good idea

Starter bolties yes, and while it’s true engies and demo men CAN use the same rifles as troopers (Exept those with boom surprises) troopers are the easiest soldier to switch from squad to squad…

…Yeah he’s filler position.

Maybe make sf rifles troopers ONLY or make rifles grenades more potent?

id follow the rifle grenade trend.

Changes
-Rifle grenades become a backpack slot item. 1 slot =3-5 grenades
-Add Types of grenades HE and HEAT
-Putting the device on the rifle already comes loaded (once its loaded it stays loaded. should start this way)

Ive always likes the rifle grenade, It has its uses, but too cumbersome to have it ready when you need it.

Now that I think of it though, this may become too noob tube and common…would probably have to become a specialist “grenadier”

Well the rifle squads are 9 men (at least in Moscow), I load up on mines, rush with TNT, die, and repeat, and soon there are mines everywhere

Maybe its just me, but regular troopers to me are fine for what they are.
Armies were made up of by and far of these types of soldiers.
Most of mine are bolts and Semis.

There are some potential adjustments, in specific cases. Vg1-5 for the Berlin Volksturm would be welcome.
The bolt buffs coming to Stalingrad might make them more viable if that is ported over to other campaigns.

They are the wave of troops you need for bodies on the point. I usually bring out my 9 man after my specialists have served their purpose. 9 on the point helps more.

That’s just me though.

I pretty much agree. There has to be the filler/meatshield/fodder class

Maybe to represent their numbers better, make them lose less tickets on loss, as they are a dime a dozen unit. Doesn’t make them more interesting however does mean that having more of them directly influences ticket loss. Would make it very viable to bring troopers squads.

Riflemen are plenty dangerous anyway (doesnt matter what campaign, I have many more kills with rifles than any other weapon), its just other squads have a gimmick on top.
