Rifle stock colors/officers weapons

A little while ago someone suggest customization/skin as a way for the game to make money outside of exploitive events. They even mentioned different wood color stocks at first i turned it down. Now i think about wood types, finishes and the natural aging of many rifles kept if not for years decades. Brown, blacks, grays, reds and blondes.

Still not sure it would be good, and camo while used was rare and simple when compared to warship, planes and vehicles. but what do the rest of you think, would you like your squad to be able to customize the color of your guns stocks. i think it could be fun maybe even the barrel, blued or silver maybe hues from different metal aging.

I think this would be a good idea. This might be the closest thing to “skins” we could get. Shades of woods are different from one tree to another, and camouflage was very rarely used on weapons during WWII. The only example of camouflage on a weapon I can think of is the green painted Owen SMG we can find on the internet. But I am not against engraved or gold plated side arms, because these were generally bought by officers. Sure they would probably not shoot these, but these are still perfectly functional weapons.
