I feel like adding this type of details will kinda help balance grenade launchers, in Rising Storm 2 the MAS-49 had to be reloaded with special ammo before firing the grenade launcher unlike Enlisted where in 2 seconds they just equip the launcher and boom
Current nade launchers doesn’t explode when hitting someone in the chest or at the ground 40% of the time so no point in nerfing them even more if they fix them + HE shells and mgs not doing anything then yeah why not.
They should partially or fully revert that nerf and do this instead.

It would have the con of: No quick switching between nades, Meaning you have to actively choose to use the nade launcher or use the normal mode.

In Tunisia, where there are no automatic rifles, GL spamming is an annoying problem, so they deserve the nerf
If I recall correctly: The Japanese Grenade Launcher actually shot a normal round through it’s Grenade Launching cup setup when shooting grenades, so if this sort of mechanic were added it would actually give the Japanese an advantage in something other than having swords on everything.
I personally think it’d be neat if they added the bullet that the Japanese Launcher fires when firing their grenade launcher… for those few instances were that bullet could be hella useful.

Not only that, With reloading animation of propulsion/blank cartridge while reloading the Rifle Grenade, It should be able to be repleanished via ammo crates. Also, adjustable sights for the rifle grenade firing should be available to be used. Making it be light-light mortar used for long-range combat rather then blank range grenade spammer.
