Rifle grenades question

Is there a difference in infantry damage between the regular rifle grenades and the “AT” ones?

against infantry use regular ones, AT ones are shit from my experience

At grandes dont do so much damage to tank and are weak against infantry so if you want use granadeluncher use anti infantry one

Unless you’re shooting at a puma just use the regular rifle grenades, puma is the only thing I can think of that an at grenade can penetrate at least somewhat reliably

AT grenades actually work well vs infantry. Tried it a couple of times with the 1 rifle I unlocked with campaign line. Can take a bunch of guys out at once… and damage tanks a bit.

But it’s in Stalingrad. No idea if Normandy ones work well too.

It’s Stalingrad I’m asking - it works on the premium flamethrower tanks and, if you’re very very lucky, on the T-70 (side of the turret). And that’s why I’m asking - flame tanks are annoying to deal with using just TNT packs.

They work.

They might not explode a tank after a single shot… but they WILL render them inoperable. Then you’ll see it’s crew get off to repair… and since you’re far (you shot a long range AT nade) they’re dead meat.

Then once the crew is gone you can merrily drop tnt on top of the tank to finish it off.

It’s an underrated weapon because ppl expect too much their weapons to explode or 1hk things in a single shot.

I should probably use them more myself. Only reason I don’t is that they don’t come on mannlichers and Winchesters or Soviet carbines…

My issue is their poor pen power. I have a great experience with the Soviet AT rifle made in SG. Thing is pretty good at taking down, partly even killing Js and F2s. My two penalty squads have some of them together with Molis. Decent at everything and good immersion feeling. Really wish them in Moscow for meme.

Things are awful in Normandy. The M1G can only pen the Sdkfz and on very good days a IV without sideskirts. I didn’t use the GDD in Normandy much but everything past the M8 is not worth the trouble.

Soviet AT rifle grenades have 56mm penetration while all others have 50mm pen.
Considering how german panzers have 50mm armor at best, no wonder soviets are in better situation as usual.

Is of no bias comrade

Well. Aparrt from what Vault said, Soviet tanks in SG have better armor overall excluding the T-70. If the Granatbüchse already struggles with the KV, I don’t expect much with AT rifle grenade.
