In that case give semi autos same dmg as bolt actions
There was a time where semi auto rof was changed to 200
quite literally everyone disliked that change, so it was improved to the values we have now

in that case remove that dumb dispersion and make it recoil based only
Oh yes let’s make most semis to be even crappier as they are now. How about we always use just SMGs and Bolt Rifles no matter what?
Not that I am a gun expert, but I have shot a few semi auto’s in my life, including the M16, which was three shot burst. However contrary to what a gun manufacturer rates it’s ROF, a human being can only pull a trigger so fast, some faster then others, and fast fingers does not mean accurate fingers. The faster I shoot, the less accurate I become, so, there is a limit to how fast I can shoot and be lethal, same with everyone. So, just because DF rates a semi auto at 480 ROF, most are not going to shoot at that rate. Semi auto ROF is not an issue to me, it’s the over buffing of some smg’s, and under buffing of other smg’s that are my issue, especially when I think the vast majority of players are using smg’s over semi auto’s. Really the only place I play majority semi auto’s is in level five, and I use them on fully auto, so it does not matter how fast my fingers can click the mouse.
