I don’t know why its a struggle for the devs to give Japan a ground attacker with 20 mm cannons… So why do you give us BR 0 planes for ground attackers I suggest to give us E13A1C version of the plane that had 250 kg bomb and 2× 20mm Type 99-2 cannons in a downwards firing position in the belly. It will require minor rework on the existing plane and making it very good playable plane from the useless plane we have right now.
The Cannons are in game BTW they are the same cannons like on the J2M3 with 420 ammo.
You can also give us its newer version Aichi E16A if you cant modify this plane for some reason and add a bomb and cannons at the bottom of the plane. The Aichi E16A had cannons in the wings but I don’t see why would be such a big problem attaching two cannons on the existing model and giving it proper bomb then making a new plane.
This is the Aichi E16A but i think its much easier to just give E13A1 its two cannons and its 250 kg bomb.
The E13A1 is a very iconic and interesting plane sadly killed by the devs bad decision to give it no proper bomb load and no cannons 2x20 mm cannons and 1x250 kg bomb will give the plane a new life.

On the side note, I’m conflicted what tier this version of E13A should be. I’m guessing tier 3 would be most fitting due the size of the bomb.

No there is BR I planes with the same size bomb and a fighter plane and Stuka has same size bomb just like every BR II ground attacker and extra bombs.
Re 2001 CN has 1x250 kg bomb
Potez has 2x200 kg bombs (400 kgs in total)
Ju 87 have 1x250 kg bomb and 4x50 kg bombs or 500 kg bomb
IAR 81 C has 1 x250 kg bomb and 2x50kg bombs
And I can go on and all this planes are much faster with much more HP then this plane. And there is more planes with 250 kg bombs on BR I and BR II.
The SBD-3 has even 1x500 kg bomb and 2x50 kg bombs and much more armor and better guns.
The E13A1c should stay BR I if its too good can get its BR swapped with the D3A1 Acchi but i think a single 250 kg bomb for E13A1c is exactly BR I plane specially with its bad speed.
The BR III fighter that Japan has as bad as it is it has 500 kg bomb and its moving with 580 kilometers and have airbrake so it can be repaired on a ship while E13A1 has the miserable speed of 377 km/h this is 200 km/h less then the BR III ground attacker.
And right now even the E13A1 has 4x60 kg bombs that is 240 kg total so 10 kg of bombs more wont make it super insane.
