Revolver Half Moon Clips

I know not all have it, but, what do you think add that for make faster revolver reloads?

Admittedly, I had to Google that term.

I can see your point, but revolvers are the cheapest pistol in the game, and for a reason.
They have decent stopping power, but suffer from terrible reload speed. Upping their reload speed might be a bit OP.

Essentially, you’d be looking at revolver DMG + semi-auto reload speed.

I doubt the devs would go for that, for balancing reasons.

If they cost more than a standard revolver, then maybe. But as they are, I don’t think so.

You’re still looking at about half the mag size and considerably lower RoF with a still longer reload. Sure, putting the bullets in the cylinder is the longest aspect, but EVERYTHING about loading a revolver is slower. Opening the cylinder, dropping the spent casings, putting rounds back in (be they single, half moon, or speed loaders), then closing the chamber and cocking the hammer
Vs dump mag, insert new mag, rack, fire

or decrease overall ammo, faster load tradeoff for say 25% less ammo overall

Why would they need to nerf damage if they add this feature? The US/UK revolvers in the game need a buff anyways, regardless, I think that this would be a good idea…

We had half moon clips on S&W M1917, but now they change it to load all 6 round at a time.

The Nagant revolver It’s still the among the worst sidearms in the game next to the TK 1926. Sure it has 7 rounds but the damage is weak, takes a significant amount of time to reload, has poor rate of fire and horrible disparity at more than 10 feet.

The least they could do here is fix the disparity to accurately hit targets at least 70% of the time at a range of 20-30m and up the damage a little from 5.1 to maybe 5.3.

Doubt half moon would help with that, but least they could fix some of the issues with this weapon. The last time it got an update it barely made much of a difference.
