Now you can’t fire any tank MG for more than a couple seconds other than the DT in the Soviet ones
The reason they do this is to try to please the pewpewpew players in the 200m CQC fight

In fact, the British 7.7mm machine gun is also very slow to overheat, and as for the Japanese tanks, their machine gun magazines only have 20 rounds, so they do not overheat at all

Tanks are a very powerful support tool, and in the right hands will wipe squads non stop from a distance.
most Handheld AT weapons in the right hands however are also incredibly great at taking out tanks and will often one hit kill at more than 100 Meters distance.
All of this means that the already artificially weak tank MGs + the new HE ricochets turned tanks into a much weaker version of themselves. Truly no one asked for this.
Only weird updates and weird system changes show up as time goes on.
