We can all agree the “balance changes” are a joke, there’s already plenty of feedback about that. I’m here to discuss a solution to the CORE problem of why the Japanese were losing so much.
The #1 reason (from what I saw) was low player count. They weren’t overly popular to begin with as so many people wanted to play as Allies. Over a little time, it became common place for players trying to build up logistics resources to go and dominate pretty much uncontested. To fix this, incentivize the Japanese side. Double the reward to play as them. A lot of people that are trying to grind logistics orders would be happy to jump over there to grind them out, solving the issue.
Well, I`ve just lost 5 battles in a row for USA. There were 7-9 bots in my team and we played against 7-9 players. So it seems that everyone switched to the japanese side fo far. Haha, so now the balance is perfect (sarcasm)
Before the update my win rate was only 19% out of nearly 150 Japan strict games, It’s now at least up to 25%. I was very upset I lose 80% of my games, I’m sure you loved winning 80% of yours.
Nope sir, i leveled Japan first and got the same issues with teams full of bots every single battle. But i did it anyway
For now im leveling USA… and getting the same Im really lucky
my winrate with america is 75% - why should i switch?
WHY should i be wasting my time with anything that isnt strong and op -meta?
thats the kind of gross toxicity gayjin loves to breed - the game is far too grindy to play everything or even a tenth of it - just like in war thunder. i dont see the point in not playing the strongest faction.
Because you’re basic why play with interesting weapons and armies when you can just be the side that always wins, so I’m guessing you’ve never touched axis Moscow, allied normandy, allied berlin, axis tunisia, allied stalingrad or axis Pacific
The whole point of GAME BALANCE is to not have a “strongest side”. As I said in OP, the key shouldn’t be in severely altering the equipment or reinforcements and capture times. Instead it should be in incentivizing playing as the less popular side, even if the balance is dead even.
