Yes Right in the middle of a fire fight you get return to the battlefield or we will kill you in a matter of seconds.
This should be changed.

I am fighting enemy troops on the objective they take it and I am still enganged fighting the enemy and I get return to the battlefield soldier. By the time I figure out which way to run I am dead. I should NOT have to turn and run immediately there should be some more time added to the notice and your death.

I am still getting this error, today while fighting as the allied in normandy I am within 52 meters of the objective actively fighting enemy soldiers and I get return to the battlefield soldier. I also had one yesterday when playing as the axis in normandy. They had a tank that was raking the objective with machine gun fire, I went to take it out and got halfway there and got return to the battle field. there must be a better way to calculate where the defense can go. I must be able to engage armor as infantry.
Is this the new Saint lo map, by any chance?, i ran into this a few times on that map, grey zone, iam 2 metres in front of obj, return to battle as you try and enter a building.
