There is no point in changing the first phase of Normandy, it is supposed to be hell where everything is full of machine guns and bunkers and you have to manage to break the machine guns and flank. Do not shoot from the beach at a wall.
The solution was simply to leave that as it was and make the rest easier, not basically destroy the essence of Normadia beach on D-Day.
I played this map for the first time in a while and literally my gaming experience was shooting at a wall with people behind it. Run towards the wall and voila, you have already passed Normandy beach

And why both are called Normandy invasion? There are some maps that I hate and they are a headache for me, with how easy it would be to insert a map selector, since they removed the campaigns

Normandy it’s a France región who has many places like ver sur mer, Omaha beach, omer and more localities

Ok, thanks for the clear up. Phew, got scared there for a second. Yeah the other beach is a lot easier in the beginning, but it has its fun parts. Both maps are great either way
yes i know omaha is next to Utah beach, and the D-Day was in the two beaches at the same time xD

Omaha and Utah: America
Sword and Gold: Britain
Juno: Canada
Omaha is the most famous because nearly all attempts to weaken the fortifications failed from poor bombardment, to the infamous paratrooper drop, to the fact strong currents made them land over a mile away from where they were supposed to. The Omaha beach landing is the textbook definition of FUBAR
Every other beach had its problems, and many people died on those as well, but none were as odds stacked as Omaha. The big bad D-Day everyone thinks of has been immortalized through movies and games. Honestly I find it refreshing and super enjoyable they added another beach. It’s a bit more lax and you can carry your team a lot easier than Omaha. Best I guess guestimate, it’s Gold
