They have now disabled the ability to choose sides in the event, which I think greatly detracts from it. I preferred to play for one side, even if it was a less popular one. However, I have no desire to play now. I propose that the “random side” option be retained, with an increase in experience. Additionally, the option to play for a chosen side without experience should be restored. This would be similar to the standard game experience.

No. The enlisted playerbase proved it was incapable of understanding pressing a button to switch sides (hence the massively stacked Soviet teams since they were default) and balancing teams is the most important factor in an event.

Yep call the player base stupid that will get them on you side besides even the dumbest player would only take a few matches to figure that out. Or maybe Japan is the weakest faction gear wise in game and so it’s the strongest.
Why do I need your “team balance” if I can’t play for the teams I want? It’s easier for me to just not play in the tournament. And I’m definitely not the only one.

No, the most important factor are the weapons we are ultimately grinding for… you playing this unbalanced trash for fun? Just have a few soviet bot farms that are basically aim trainers and go back to regular matches.

Because you chose wrong maybe they should just lock it to one faction and make the other a bot team. We could finally see how bad the boys truly are
