after earning the squad from event i wanted to change their skills, but instead of forgetting one skill i am asked do you want to use retraining point with YES or CANCEL. i want to forget the 2 skills (which i am currently not allowed) and then use retraining point. can we get YES, NO and CANCEL?
You ran out of retraining points and that is why the game is asking if you want to forget perks…

no… i still have retraining points, but i want to forget perks to go for higher costing skills. and with 2 skills occupying points it is impossible to get that higher costing skill cause i cant forget without wasting training points.
That’s always how retraining points have worked. Deal with it.

it would be just better when asked if you want to use training point to get option to forget if you click NO. now only choices are YES and CANCEL. that is why i put this into suggestions so we can get YES, NO and CANCEL options.
No one in the year this game has been out has had this issue except you, so I advise you just suck it up.

we could just ignore all the suggestions and bugs cause you know… not everyone had same issue… why even develop this game even further. game was perfectly fine when it came out a year ago…
Thing is, more than one person have complained about those bugs, and those should be given priority, not something like this where only one person is complaining and all they have to do is spend a couple extra resources.
this is easy fix that needs 5 minutes of coders work. not something that needs hours and hours of development.
i didnt even know that retraining points exist till this point, so i wouldnt even know how to complain about them before. what about others? maybe nobody complained cause of their rarity? idk if you even get them with premium squads that have all their skills preselected. do you even get useless skills in premium squads?
They used to be given out once you got a trooper maxed out, and they still worked like this. No one complained even when they were they were the only way to change what perks a trooper had.
did forget even exist in that time or just retrain? also you could select all your perks from ground up. you didnt get bad preselected perks that devs gave you. when you get perks that split your vitality points in half and you want +35% vitality, it is impossible to get them without forgetting one of them and retraining the other. to bypass this you could also retrain second skill and select placeholder skill to get rid of vitality cost and then retrain first, but still you are spending that training point when there is already forget option implemented ingame. they only need to add one extra option in existing confirmation dialog. not change physics of the game.

well you get them with new squad from event. squad has preselected perks so they probably put them so you can retrain…
No, forgetting perks was the new system they implemented to change retraining after they overhauled ranking up, and they have always worked the way they do in game. They shouldn’t change as all they really do now is give premium squads a small amount of customizability before you even play it. If you want to fully customize your squad, just go and play it for a bit.
so now we know why nobody complained about this for a year… forget didnt exist when retraining points were current and retraining points were discontinued for a year… so that would explain why no one has complained about this feature for a year…

I miss them. I want the accumulation of training points back. Made training a soldier to desired perks so, so much easier…
Still doesn’t change the fact that no one thought the system was unfair beforehand, and that you are the first and only person to have an issue with this.
it is cause you didnt have forget at that time. we are now used to forgetting. and when you give retraining points without forget option it is bad. and that is why i am having problem now.
Still doesn’t matter. The system is fair and should not change, end of story. Just suck it up, spend the extra retraining point and play with the squad to grind it back up.

Oh they still work. But only to the remaining soldiers who have it. You cannot earn retraining points anymore. I bet on the cause that Darkflow wants to push the grind slowly to soldiers as well.
