Resupply points for tanks in invasion/sabotage missions

This might be an controversial one, but I can’t help but notice the fact that tanks can only resupply their ammo in conquest missions, where in my opinion 80% of the time they are useless because the match ends before they run out of it or get blown up because the action is much more concentrated. Comparing this with a Invasion map where the battle can last for much longer and take place on a larger space and after a while, assuming the tanker didn’t just yolo his tank towards the enemy it becomes nothing more than an mobile and armored MG nest. This also might help Mg-less tanks like the Stug (ik it’s a premium) or SU-85 who once they run out of HE are forced to use AP against infantry which as you might well now it’s not that effective (same thing against tanks).

To simplify the suggestion here is a short list of pros and cons if this will ever be implemented:

Pros:

  • It will help mg-less tanks like Stug, and SU-85 to be effective against infantry or tanks for a longer time, but also improve the gameplay for tanks that burn rather fast trough ammo (Pz II).

  • It will reward players who play their tanks more strategically and calculated.

  • It will give players a reason not to just suicide or yolo their tank after they run out of ammo for their gun

Cons:

  • It might make getting into a tank more difficult because good players will stay alive longer and thus holding the position occupied for much longer.

  • If inexperienced player who plays way too safe and gets way fewer kills than one who has a much better experience it will prove more detrimental to the team than useful.

Personal suggestion: The resupply point should not be too far away where the team’s tanks spawn in order to not waste time driving back and forth and deny the team for a long time much needed armoured support.

they should be either limited in refills or in the general infantry fighting area since gray zone camping is a huge issues.

in general i’m against anything that encourages camping away from the fight, so as long as it’s somewhere the tank has to risk getting shot at, i wouldn’t mind.

Well, to circumvent your problem:

They could position supply points in a way that rewards tanks pushing up. E.G. Our rallying point is at the bunkers, once we get a foothold there we can resupply our tanks.

there are tanks with 20ish rounds of ap/apcr ammo on them. more times than not , i have lost my tank just because i didnt had any more ammo to fight other tanks,

a way to resupply my ammo would be very welcome.

I think it should be better : the enginers should build tank resuplie points
