there were many great submissions!
Straight out of a movie type of scenes.
these would have been better picks LOL
Congratulations to all the winners!
Guess a soldier aiming at a tank with a machine gun was better
Can you also make a black and white photos for better look?
These photos were incredible, it must have been difficult for the judges to define a small number of winners for so many beautiful photos!
With each event, the photos get even more incredible, so congratulations to the winners and the judges! This time there were so many beautiful photos that it must have been difficult to choose from so many incredible photos! How about increasing the number of winners a little at the next event?
Id argue some of those were better than what was picked, I love the recreation of the famous pershing and panther scene. Though art is subjective as they say.
Not to be a party pooper but this Gneisenau decal is from War Thunder’s Cold War Leopard tank
Worse yet, the screenshot was taken in Stalingrad campaign when Tiger II tanks didn’t exist yet.
But that’s not the point of these screenshots, they look amazing though almost none of them are really historical.
The Cologne tank duel was HA, Erika’s picture with the German riders is also realistic.
The rest of the pictures with scoped StG, infantry FG, not whitewashed tanks, jet duel ect are also not HA.
But they are still amazing and depict Enlisted as what it is.
You can always look at actual WW2 pictures if you want that, but these are just game screenshots.
Definitely well deserved, beautiful screenshots.
How do you add those water drops to the screenshot?
It was made by me btw. I might make more historical picture recreations in the future contests
“I believe I can fly”
First the word itself, Gneisenau is the name of not one but two warships,
the first sunk during world war 1, the second was named after it and sunk during world war 2.
The name for the first ship itself stems from a general, named august neidhardt von gneisenau, who is named after the city of Gneisenau also known as Schildau.
but yes, this specific font was found and used on a leopard turret.
with that being said, not out of the realm for someone somewhere to apply it onto their crew tank during ww2.
I mean it was a ship in service in WW2, I know in WT I use the decal on my Brumbar, felt fitting really.
