Worse yet, the screenshot was taken in Stalingrad campaign when Tiger II tanks didn’t exist yet.
But that’s not the point of these screenshots, they look amazing though almost none of them are really historical.
The Cologne tank duel was HA, Erika’s picture with the German riders is also realistic.
The rest of the pictures with scoped StG, infantry FG, not whitewashed tanks, jet duel ect are also not HA.
But they are still amazing and depict Enlisted as what it is.
You can always look at actual WW2 pictures if you want that, but these are just game screenshots.
First the word itself, Gneisenau is the name of not one but two warships,
the first sunk during world war 1, the second was named after it and sunk during world war 2.
The name for the first ship itself stems from a general, named august neidhardt von gneisenau, who is named after the city of Gneisenau also known as Schildau.
but yes, this specific font was found and used on a leopard turret.

I still watch some from time to time… the old ones like the one in the gif, were so masterfully made… there was smart and witty humor everywhere. You don’t see this anymore in today’s overly sanitized media…
Ive heard the new one is meant to be quite good, but I havent seen it.
Saying that, It was always a hard choice between the 12 tasks of Asterix, or the one where they go to Egypt. (Not counting the comics because they are truly impossible to beat.)
