I’ve seen this happening a lot. Can’t say if it always has been that way since I started playing during the Horn STG/AT-44 event, but high BR has low-BR tanks clogging up their tank slots quite frequently.
And I can’t blame anyone who does this. Tanks are your best bet for farming high amounts of exp, nearly everyone wants to play them.
And why do they need the exp?
To unlock a tank that is actually suitable for BR III-V.
And this takes weeks, if not months. No surprise if we’ll be seeing Pz II/T60 at high BRs for a while to come, especially after the steam launch when everyone starts hitting BR III and getting uptiered.
I don’t have a good solution for this. No other part of the research tree has nearly the same power curve as tanks do, and if you reach BR II-V by different means then you’ll inevitably be stuck with your tin can.

also they are wasting tank slots, the game can allow only two tanks, i have a panther and i am waiting for very long but i dont even get a chance to use tank bcoz of dumb teammates

I disagree. It’s great for variety and I say all that matters is the vehicle slot is doing whatever job he can.
The system works as intended, spawn → blown up → next guy spawns → blown up → so on and so fourth
And I’ve had matches where we’ve had King Tigers throughout the match, with the occasional other thing and yet we still lost. Vehicles aren’t the end all be all

yeah until u experience same situation where u want to use ur mighty panthers to counter against t34 but becoz ur dumb teammates have pz 2 , u cant just wait and watch for him to explode
and also i cant able to destroy those tanks as they were in safe zone or outside our battle area
Bad Idea, personally I like using my light tanks to mow down masses of infantry, while the bigger tanks need to reload in like 6-10 seconds, my lil Bt-7 will put down 3-4 shells by then.
What you are referring to my friend is a bad teammate. If you put him in a Tiger 2, he will still die to Panzefaust.*

You would’ve lost that whether those guys were in those early WW2 tanks anyway. Don’t restrict, they are great at killing soft targets like squishy infantry and apcs/trucks.
I’ve killed a Tiger 2 with my BT-7, As I said this is mostly a skill issue on the part of your teammate. It’s unfortunate but you can encourage them to get good I guess.

Ya well you need to click faster to get the slot, or play a different class. These light tanks have their place in BR V too. They should not restrict any weapon or any tank from uptier; that’s just stupid.
Go in a plane, if they are sitting in the grey zone complain to the developers as many people here have complained about spawn camping tanks. A king tiger sitting in spawn is untouchable compared to a IS-2 or Pershing. This grey zone camping is for lazy people who like abusing mechanics like spawn killing/spawn camping. Only shitty tankers who are afraid of getting flanked like the grey zone mechanic, petition/poll for that shit to get removed.

Barrel and track the king tiger so it is defenseless and then put a round in its turret ring. Otherwise you can try squeezing a round through the cannon breech/barrel.
Tiger 1 is the one I remember killing, you can pen the rear of Tiger 1 with the 45, but Tiger two I have disabled before.
