WHY WHY WHY respawn where you die? no fun getting killed 3 or 4 times
if you spawn on standard spawn you have a few seconds âspawn protectionâ. if you use a spawn build by another player and on top close to the objective: deal with it, because itâs active fighting area.
experienced players also hunt these Rallypoints and put a AP-mine on it so you die instantly if you spawn on them.
so go and build a rallypoint on the flanks and with a little bit of distance to the objective and protect it with an AP-mine and with sandbags and / or behind natural cover like rocks, houses, walls, âŚ
last but not least: this is a suggestion section here and I donât see any real suggestion from you according to your âissueâ except âmimimi I am getting killed multiple timesâ
If you see that a rallypoint is closed due to fighting near it, it is better not to spawn there.
Suggestion is you **** - alter the way we respawn - not wher we die - get it?
No choice - it respawn where you die
But what do you mean? The main spawn point, the infantry carrier, or the rallypoint?
the standard spawns have spawn protection for 10sec if I am not mistaken so you canât die there after you spawn!
looks like you spawned on a rallypoint build by a teammate and OFC players camp there or put a AP mine on it so you instant die - I do the same and kill multiple enemies there. And you have the chance to select another spawn like the standard spawn where you have the spawn protection. so you have enough time to move out of there. if you keep staying there, well itâs your fault then
Honestly - I get shot by the same guy who killed me before. No 10 seconds - that would be heaven! respawning where I die and less than one second iâm dead - not sure whatâs going on by itâs constant.
The place where I die
I think this is down to your squad. Remember, if you donât place your AI squad members somewhere, theyâll just hover around you, thus giving more chances for the enemy to pick them off.
Itâs good practice to leave your squads a little behind you, preferably in a covered position, so they arenât subect to enemy fire so easily. Also, remember to mark enemy locations or at least where you think the enemy are coming from. Your squad (and others) will then point towards that marker, and are more likely to shoot in that direction.
I donât think this is anything to do with spawn points, but just squad placement.
Hope this helps.
like I said: then it wasnât a standard spawn with spawn protection but a spawn build by another player! and the build spawns havenât spawn protection and can also get destroyed.
And then I ask myself why you spawn again there if you got killed by an enemy âspawn camperâ before instead of using another spawn?! looks like you were learn resistant the first time, so you got the hard way. so there is nothing what DF / Gaijin as developer / publisher have to do. Might be hard, but itâs up to you to improve your gameplay and learn from your mistakes.
looks more like he spawned multiple times of a build rally and one enemy took the opportunity to camp these spawn. specially with an MG itâs really fun sometimes to shred a whole squad and let the spawnpoint stay to do it over and over again.
I donât think thatâs what heâs talking about.
I believe heâs referring to when you are being reincarnate into AI squad member right after you have been killed.
Which indeed sometimes can lead into situation when an enemy player is shooting at your squad and kills you first. So thereâs about a second in between when you are respawning into one of your bot.
Well, thatâs when that player manages to kill that bot. Which leads into you being trapped in some sort of limbo trying to spawn into one of your bots.
When this happens maybe 3 or 4 in a row. And the enemy manages to completely annihilate your whole squad, it can get pretty fast very frustrating tbh.
Could be possible. But then he should explain in more detail what exactly he means.
Yes, it can be frustrating but if it happens all the time then itâs still nothing what DF / Gaijin has to change. Itâs more likely how to change the own gameplay and the following orders of the squad.
OFC Darkflow could start to make the AI smarter (instead of getting every time worse) â for example: they havenât fixed the walkways, specially on pacific on the ship. Instead of the running through the holes at the bottom of the ship into the objective down, the bots climb all the way up the ladder and then run from top to bottom into the interior of the ship. And then they get shot down on their grandiose walkways But this is a complete other story
Thank you - also Iâm new here (as you can tell) maybe itâs because I click âcontinueâ rather than choose another squad member? I have a lot to learn about rally points etc. Yes they hover around getting in my way too often! thanks for kind support
