Researching new items

Hello my fellow Enlisted players and compatriots.

I have been grinding my butt off the last few days trying to research and unlock new vehicles and weapons, I have just finished researching the Tiger II and STG44… I have now been faced with the absurd dilemma of not being able to purchase either one of these items because it says I must research all items in the line prior. I already own the Tiger 1 and the MP43/1. Why must I research everything prior? Does that mean I need to research all of the Tier 1 weapons in the line? Or only those in the line of that Tier (T-5)?

I am absolutely defeated at the idea that I spent hours playing this game and I am unable to purchase either item. There was ZERO information or warning about this situation. There is no information in game in regards to what is needed to unlock the “next” item in the tech tree. It shows I am able to begin research, so I begin to research these items and completed them. Now I am unable to purchase them. This is very unfortunate and I would truly like a response from someone who is affiliated with DarkFlow. I’m upset.

The way it should work is that you can begin research down a new line of items because you have moved onwards to the next tier. The lines should be as long as the tiers are. This is absolutely ridiculous and absurd. This needs to be changed ASAP.

Does anyone have any info on what the situation currently is? If so I would appreciate some assistance.

This is hands down, the most disappointing thing about the merge.
Instead of reducing the grind or making it more bearable, it was made worse and more annoying.

Letting players unlock already researched gear without having to research every stupid little thing is the most requested change since the merge.

The whole system is stupid, because if DF ever adds more equipment, I will be forced to research all of it before I could unlock gear Im interested in.

Darn. I really hope DF listens to our complaints. I work a lot. I don’t have much time to play Enlisted, especially when I have to grind out each item (6 sub guns) to unlock the STG44 and I need to grind out 7 vehicles for the Tiger II (P). (I have already researched the STG/TigerII). This is absolutely ridiculous. The merge is an absolute run-around.

This is a long held Gajin practice to increase the grind time. The merge only allowed players to buy what they’d already researched. It’s annoying but sadly it’s just how they do things.
