Research tree!

I think that the research tree should have follow changes:
1. Divide into two tabs - infantry weapons in the first, and vehicles in the second. This will make the branches wider for clarity.
2. Make a separate line of sniper weapons.
3. There are researches where 2 types of weapons are hidden under one icon. So make two icons visible, one under the other, but centered along the line. At the same time, you need to search only one.
4. Old players who had not upgrad some low-level types of weapons, not able to upgrade the entire line from the initial one. We need to allow open new types, if previous item unlocked.

Implement War-Thunder like mechanism for post merge research mess! I am researching top tier gear and apparently I have to waste time on researching low tier trash weapons, tanks and gear… Utterly inexcusable, especially when War Thunder has this exact issue sorted right.

Btw what is the significance of dashed / solid line within the research tree? I failed to notice that or what?

Apart of research line weapon placement optimization, I propose:

  1. Allow reseach within squad context. If squad is unlocked (previously), player can research weapons / vehicles that fall into squad specific upgrades. Who cares about some level 1 stuff if I have Engineer III unlocked?

That research tree makes no sense. Looks like someone wrote all weapons/vehicles names on small pieces of paper and threw them in the air to decide how research would be organized.
