Research / tech tree

Hi fellow enlisted men. Seeing as many among us is or are former war thunder players.

Wouldnt The progression and unlock mechanic in this game be more appealing if certain things was more similar to The way its built up in war thunder. Maybe not experience wise as it would be alot of grinding ( The current system already is imo)

But if we would have tech tree for your squads and you choose what unit your xp would research. And the cost for different units would be different. But it gives you a bit more control on unlocking units you prioritize.

And squad upgrades would be similar on how it is for vehicles in war thunder.

I think there already are some similarities, and I know it is too different games and maybe they should not look or feel The same.

And as far as new gear and weapons go. I think that it is good in some ways that you cant control exactly what you get. But now it The RNG of it feels to random.

And weapons upgrades should definatly be more of unlock upgrades as you play with a certain weapon. Not to tear them down to get parts.

I know similar topics have been discussed and that there is as many opinions as there is players.

But i like to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Thats it for now gentleman. Apologize for The Wall of text

hello to you,

i personally think it’s not a good idea.

because just like warthunder, that system would just skip fondamental parts, and in the case of enlisted, people would miss the passive progression system. meaning that some players might gonna reach a " meta " avoiding all the others core parts of the game.

i think that it’s best if everyone progress through the line for each indivudal squads. so that can give an idea to everyone what to use, and what not by their preferences because they can see what there is. avoiding the process of like: oh no, i wasted points/currency/time in something that i unlocked and i don’t like. same thing

i agree. because sometimes you fiind your self scrapping 3 times a rifle and not even getting the upgrade. ( like happened to me )

Cheers ^^

Thats a good point, and People would definatly meta grind. And as it is it lets you Try out everything thats True. And makes People adapt different playstyles and understanding of different units. The UI might feel a bit unwelcoming but as you play and understand. Its not that hard to use. Some quicker and better mechanic here and there would be good.
