Request for change on the BAR and the guns just like it

Since bar’s have a small capacity for especially a br3 machine gun, it’d be nice to see the m1918’s and other guns just like it have 2 BR’s. Br3 for machine gunners but br5 if equipped standard riflemen that have the single bullet icon.

The first BAR you unlock should at least be reduced to BR 2. The US has no MG for low BR, you have to use British MG’s for low BR.

Agreed. But at least the US’s Brens are better than the madsen which Russia’s br2 mg is. However id like to see the BAR-like mg’s the way the post says since the BAR’s did fill the roles of automatic riflemen.

Yes. but they should also increase the sprint penalty. their -25% instead of -50% is why they are on BR3

Not really if they keep the BAR at br3 and make it available for normal riflemen but once you equip it one to a riflemen, then it’ll be br5. If you equip it to a machine gunner then it’ll stay br3

My idea has always been:

BR II - Bren gun variants, M1918 BAR

BR III - Lewis gun, M1918A1, M1918A2 BAR

This gives USA-UK players an American OR British-Commonwealth option for an LMG as well as competent LMGs at BOTH BRs.

Tor the Soviets, Dark Force needs to take the RPK1943 out of the Battle pass, add a 20 round mag and place it in the tech tree and drop the base level three BAR to level two. If I had my way, these are the changes I would make to lower level machine guns.

Soviets…RPK 1943 from BP to level two tech tree. Madsen to level one
Allies…BAR from level three to level two. Vickers Berthier to level one
Germans…Mod 30 to level one
Japanese…Hotchkiss from BP to tech tree level two. Type 11 MG to level one

Since in my two years of coming to the forum and leaving suggestions, Dark Force has failed to acknowledge or act on a single one, I ain’t holding my breath. :rofl: I’m certain they love the money I have spent on premium content, squads and weapons, but apparently not any of my suggestions. :grin:
