The problem is, it’s not an enemy weapon.
You should be able to reload dropped allied weapons at allied ammunition crates.

Honestly to not abuse this feature, let you rearm weapons you unlocked only
This is BS, maybe pay attention to real world, you can find interviews of Ukrainians in 2014 who decided to fight to save Donetsk and Luhansk, they had NO weapons started with shovels, they got Russian Rifles, then mortars, then trucks and tanks, they had NONE, they killed the enemy to get weapons & ammo. This has been true of most resistance forces. So if you a newbie and you drop enemy with SMG you should be able to use it and get at least one reload minimum from team placed ammo boxes, if you place the ammo box you should be allowed multiple reloads.
The current issue of not being able to reload your own squads weapons, that you paid for is really pretty awful. I do understand they are trying to keep the flow of the game moving, but hey everyone dies pretty fast in this game, 85% of the players won’t even get a chance to reload.
I had the same wish, but i think some restrictions should be made for Gold Order weapons, like RMN-50. If i could pick it up and rearm it, i wouold have whole squad armed with them after few spawns. Or dropping them to someone else, we could spam them non-stop. So this could be an exception, but overall no harm in reloading friendly picked up guns.
We should also be able to rearm enemy weapons at enemy ammo boxes.
