I really want Pershing.
But I think we will have it!
Devs are bound to give allies something like it, if simply because once the game updates and gets converted with fused factions, allies will need something to face the bigger cats. I hope.
As for armoured pz4, if you talk about track armour… the Stalingrad “G” is one of my favourite vehicles. It’s beautiful and the tracks actually save me from time to time!
Plus now that the gun got patched and is lethal at last… it’s very fearsome.
(I nicknamed mine “G Spot”. Because it knows where to hit.)

I fear its 90mm gun will perform just as bad as the firefly 17 pounder.
I really don’t know what the devs have against high velocity guns.
Firefly should be fantastic.
But… they only gave it solid AP…
We could even dream of Super Pershing as a counter to Tiger II H
Comet is already in the game file, if it has APDS it might be really good.

Would love to see that happen, Pershing and Comet deserve to be in the game, tho super pershing would be just as ridiculous as a Maus to be honest, not so much by performance but by being pure fantasy.

It’s why I only dare dream of it.
I got premium jagdpanther, and it’s already practically invulnerable… the tiger one is overkill.

Super pershing did see combat in WW2. There was a duel between a T26 and a Tiger II at Dessau in 1945.

Two of them were sent to Europe in 1945, as well as 20 pershing or something. I am not really sure about their use in the fightings but some sources said that one super pershing of the 3rd armoured fought in dessau.

I am not sure about its veracity though.
But Wikipedia page also talks about its use in Germany in April 1945, where it was equipped with its famous improvised armour made of a piece of panther’s frontal plate
This is the same model that can be found in War Thunder as T26E1

Yes but unfortunately that the only US tank that could compete with the Tiger II H in game and that saw actual frontline service during WW2. So it is either that or only getting the Pershing which will struggle against II H

But personally it would be nice if it was introduced into the tech tree as a faster way to have a 122mm cannon, long before the is2
