The Jumbo is way to op for Normandy. My suggestion is to replace it with the sherman with a 105mm howitzer. This could give the Allies a good infantry support tank while not making it op

i dont play normandy what makes it OP?
seems like 76mm gun would not be nearly as OP as a 105 gun which would clear entire buildings in one shot.
is it the armor?
It’s nearly unkillable with the AT pistol
if you are talking about jumbo having the 76, i can tell you that it doesn’t, and yes the jumbo has impetrentable* frontal armor
The Jumbo is impenetrable to the current German tanks, whilst being able to pen all of them with ease. It’s a joke.
ya seems weird they would just not have standard M4 tanks

If by impenetrable you mean frontally excluding its mg port weak point yes. It is still too strong though
Yes, precisely what I mean. As for the MG port, a good Jumbo driver won’t give you a chance to make that shot.
even then the german players aren’t smart enough to do that
Its front armor is immune to all german tank and AT guns currently in game and the Germans dont have an equivalent heavy tank
Removing the Jumbo in favor of a 105 or 76 sherman (or even an M10 wolverine) would probably be better than giving the Germans a heavy tank as adding a german heavy tank or heavy TD would make the chasm between the starter and endgame tanks even wider

is there no fixed AT gun on the normandy map? like a actual AT gun and not a rifle?
you can only build PAKs as the engineer squad and i believe those guns still can’t pen jumbo

yeah that would be a good idea
i would argue the larger fixed AT guns that the germans had on the beaches would go through 2 shermans easily.
If they added the 88 or pak 40, but right now the germans only have the buldable pak 38
The 88 and 40 would be highly effective against normal shermans but the jumbo is still pretty tough against those
If only we could use those!

If the Jumbo stays, then either the Panther or the Tiger I have to be in, it’s that simple. I still don’t know what the developers were thinking!
