Replace the current BR5 30-round Type Hei Auto rifle with the 20-round variant, as most of other factions BR5 auto rifles got only 15-20 rounds magazine, and move the 30-round to become BR4 LMG with BAR movement speed penalty.

(and in turn Germans will have their FGs moved to MGunners, and that in turn means Soviets having their AVT and AVS being moved to MGunners as well)

I love playing Japan but the Type Hei Auto is so fucking broken is unbelievable. A start would be a mag size reduction and next they should give it more recoil.

Classic doesn’t mention that Type Hei auto does less damage than other SF rifles.
Type Hei Auto’s damage out put per magazine is actually not much higher than other SF rifles damage per magazine, but only has 2 mags instead of 3 (4 for russians).
To put this in perspective type hei auto has a total of 60 rounds like FG42, AVT and T20 but due to lower damage by bullet, the type hei auto would need 20 more rounds to do same damage per total ammo as other SF so it’s balanced by forcing players to either use ammo pouch or conserve ammo.
I’m suggesting as a Japan player as well, this way we can have 20-round variant which could balance the complaint of it being op and still have a place for 30-round one. About recoil, I agree that Type Hei Auto, and also T20 should have more recoil, right now both are firing like a laser beam.

Yes, the Type Hei has SMG level recoil and the T20 has AR level recoil. Its ridiculous, the should both be recoiling like the AVS 36.
Well. The M2 shouldve been an assaulter weapon, yes. If not then make the Stg a Rifleman weapon. But no this suggestion is ill-concieved. Select Fire rifles are rifles not machineguns

I do use the FG as… an lmg. Most of the time. I take time to go prone and I use the bipods. Crazy, right?
Just feels more enjoyable to be, and turns it into a marvelous suppression (deletion eheheh) weapon.
