Reparking APC

Hello, I would like to propose some changes and improvements to the game. After respawning in a vehicle already standing on the map, the driver should be able to drive to a different place his own mobile spawn point (APC). I hope that my feedback will be helpful:)

Agreed, and only for your own APC!

I was very dissapointed one Japanese game, where I had positioned my APC far up the flank on the Burma map, with the intention of moving it after taking the point (parking in in such a way to allow easy relocation), however, when I chose to spawn without vehicle inside my own APC I found I was unable to take full control of it again. The game should really award people for planning cleverly like this and let us move our APC in future spawns!

Agreed.

Now for the purposes of discussion I will open up the following:

Players with a Driver or Tanker can drive any APC. So basically if I have my own Driver class and come across an APC I can move it even if its not mine.

I understand this could be abused hence Id suggest the ability to lock the APC. So you either leave it unlocked and any teammate can move it, or lock it and they cannot. Perhaps if a vehicle is locked other players could request permission to move your APC.

“Allow OggeKing to access your APC?” -Yes- -No-

Id also like to see the ability for other players to ride on your APC. Like give my squadmate a lift.

Now previously when Ive said this people have responded that the APC needs ‘free’ seats for people who are respawning.
I dont see why each squad needs to actually be ‘in’ the APC though especially when moving.

I would suggest that when you spawn on an APC that is in motion you basically just watch it drive and press F to hop out when you want but your soldiers arent physically represented. This is so players who have spawned can request to have a seat and they can actually get a lift.

It seems very silly to me that we have Armoured (not really) Personal Carriers yet they cant exactly carry personnel. That role is more by generated trucks which are rare and usually damaged/destroyed anyway.
