Rent a Custom Game Server

I would love the ability to rent a server that I could pick the maps and such in rotation with reserve slot function and such. Teaming with game server hosting companies (there are several) could also give an additional income stream.

Would allow unofficial player banning from specific servers (whether hacking accused or even removing top tier players for a pseudo sbmm).

Would allow players to avoid certain maps and modes and play where they want when they want

  • You want a 24/7 Normandy-D-Day Map … you got it.

Would allow for joining a game that you could “guarantee”, or at least be less likely, is not lopsided.

Could INCREASE player count per game (if desired).

Would allow clan / communities to grow around the game more effectively

Would allow server hosting in places not currently available for areas that may have player communities that are smaller but not large enough to warrant their own main region server.

I totally hear what you are saying, Cout_Smarald, but what you are asking for is the old, fun way of gaming, where we could run our own server the way we would like. Unfortunately the new order is no dedicated servers for anyone, just big multi jobs where you have to do what the devs say :-1:. Personally I think it’s a step backwards, the end of fun clan war stuff. As for Enlisted I love it, but do miss the fact that you can’t really interact with other players like we used to. I have life long friends dating back 20 years from the old clan days, such a shame that sort of thing has to end :unamused:

this guy gets it … I just think that adding it as the ability to rent and somewhat customize a server would be so beneficial to the game community as a whole. It worked so well in the past, not sure why it got so far away from it. But yes, I do yearn for the days of old too.

The problem, as it stands now, is the fact that if you do strike up a repour with your team, through out a battle, as soon as the battle finishes the chat window ends there and then. I have asked the Dev’s before if they could just leave the chat window open for even just a few minutes, so’s we can chat about the battle that had just happened but unfortunately that obviously fell on deaf ears :unamused:
