Remove vitality perk

Remove vitality perk and compensate players with 500-1000 silver and 0.25-0.5 level up orders.
Why? Because first of all it gives additional advantage to veterans and second of all it screws up the weapon balance.

Thank you.

I know it won’t happen but I can post it.

eh, i’d rather that the perk becomes more restricted to non essential class.

such as riders, medics, apc drivers, and perhaps tankers?

so that, it doesn’t make a whole lot of a difference.

This argument can be used to majority of handling perks.

Weapon balance is not all about dmg, lol. Especially in game in which TTK is pretty fast.

And this argument can be used in relation to basically whole perk system.

Plus weapon upgrade system has similar weight to vitality perk as well. It’s just more braindead friendly. As you really don’t have options to choose from, you only need to pay to get similar advantage.

Personally, after 5000+ games … I hardly even notice if someone has vitality … I don’t know if it’s because I subconsciously put an extra round in or if I’m just getting a neck shot every now and then … but I personally find the perk overrated and not worth it over stamina perks that allow me to move more freely for longer periods without the need to use a flask for a temporary boost.

I get that statistically it is a good perk; I just don’t notice it … even when I go against the better players that I know would have it.

Soviet magic armor that gives them -10% higher EHP that stacks with a vitality perk and let them ricochet some bullets also needs to get removed, just keep them as the skin and give some compensation for everyone that purchased them (premium players included maybe some gold bonus)

True. But vitality imo is the worst perk so I focused on it.

Personally I’d love perk system to be more about pros and cons (like +horizontal control -vertical control). You know, like in normal games. But apparently we need powercreep due to reasons.

I think Vitality COULD be a great balance tool for underused classes and weapons, but since everyone basically gets it, its just a straight must pick.

Back in CBT, before selectfire rifles for all soldiers and when MGs had zero dispersion, I always thought troopers should get vitality as a trade for them only having rifles, but to be fair, back in the day vitality made you survive even a bolt action shot.

this dude just wants to 1 tap people with the fedorov

Like premium paras, base bonus vitality plus vitality perk.

I am pretty sure he doesn’t have federov and most likely never will.

What do you mean? Paras aren’t underused…

If you are talking about me, then I don’t think I have any soviet gear above BR1 unlocked.

My simple two cents on this, if vitality is part of that particular soldiers bonus perk vitality needs to be locked so they can’t double stack vitality. Vitality as a whole needs to be slightly adjusted so bolt actions can still one tap at close range. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to shoot someone twice with a bolt action point blank just to kill them because they had double stacked vitality. As for semi-autos they can benefit from this as well just not as greatly. Your real issue is full auto weapons, if vitality is not tuned a certain way then it won’t mean anything if a player has a full auto weapon and uses it on you.

Maybe a -2% reduction at most, anything more than that’s entirely overkill and even this change in a stat can throw off the entire formula. So the only real solution there would be nerfing full autos and lowering damage on every weapon that has auto. After that you would adjust vitality accordingly. As for bolt actions and semis, semi-automatics may have to be adjusted then as well but bolt actions should still be fine seeing as some of them can one tap somebody close range with vitality, mainly because of its fully upgraded stat with 24+ damage.

Im indifferent. I do have it on most soliders and there are times it does save me. But TTK is still lethal regardless

I actually value faster med pack the most. If I ever play a game on a soldier that doesnt have it, It drives me nuts and I instantly make sure hes got it for next time haha
