So, An improvement that would make a welcome adjustment to this game would be the ability to remove all troops from squads that are not selected to go into battle.
It seems absurd that I have to keep 5 soldiers locked in an infantry section that I have no intention of using (as it is fully upgraded), but at the same time, I am unable to withdraw them and send for training because ‘The squad must meet the minimum requirements’.
Now, I know that before the OBT, this wasn’t much of an issue because you had troopers coming out of your ears and it was a good place to leave the 1 star people who had no real use in the mid-late game, but in this, where troops are so much harder to obtain, it feels really stupid that i have to have 2/3 and even 4 star troops sat in these defunct divisions just because the game says they must be occupied.
I propose having a tick box which allows you to eject the troops when the squad is moved out of the roster, but when moved back in, it forces you to at least meet the minimum troop size.
(obviously to prevent people just taking one man squads into battle).
