I think you are mixing the M4A3 (76) W HVSS Sherman (also known as the M4A3E8 ) with the M4A3E2 (76) W Jumbo. The M4A3E8 has only 63.5mm (93 effective) frontal armor above the gear.

I would just like a Sherman with a bigger gun.
the 76mm sherman is in game already.
But is a short barreled version. The one I am talking about is the long barreled, so it has more accuracy at a distance.

The Easy Eight has the same caliber cannon (76mm) but it is more powerful than the current M1 cannon. The E8 has the M1A1C cannon.
Easy Eight and M4A3E8 are misnomers, they refers to an experimental tank that wasn’t even being used to test the 76mm guns, but the HVSS suspension. The designation for the experimental 76mm Sherman was M4A3E6, and any production and service variant of the 76 Shermans were all designated M4Ainsert variant number here (76) W.
The E8 designation does not denote a change in gun, it’s the designation for the experimental HVSS suspension on a Sherman. A production Sherman with a 76mm gun doesn’t change designation even if the variant of 76mm gun changes, it’s still referred to as " M4Ainsert variant number here (76) W".
So many good tanks to choose from on all sides. Few American favorites (stupid strong)

Some American tanks are great, but personally I agree that a Pershing or even Super Pershing would be better suited than a 76 Jumbo or T1E1. Realistically, they are good, but not quite on par with what Germany gets, and would struggle to deal with any sort of front on engagements.
And to reply to above comments, the Easy Eight absolutely should be added. It would be strange if gaijin decided not to add it.

I put in the t1E1 for tiger opposite because who shoots first wins.
Id say 76 jumbo is slightly better than tiger 1 models, and can punch up to tiger 2s
Super pershing better than tiger 2s (equal to tiger 2 105)
In my opinion panther is better than tiger.(not even a heavy tank)

I’m aware of this, I never said the E8 designated the gun. Im referring to the tank’s nickname, as saying Easy Eight is easier and more recognizable than M4A3E8.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Im aware that E8 refers to the suspension. Easy Eight is simply the tanks common nickname.
Easy Eight is derived form the designation E8, so both are incorrect.
