It ruins the dogfight aspect of the game and it cuts down the fights too much with snipe kills at dumb distances. We have cockpit aiming reticles, let us use them…
Same for anti air… remove the lead indicators and instead add better anti air platforms for engineers as we go up the ranks… etc from 20mm to 37mm to 47mm, heck i wouldnt mind the addition of anti air vehicles too, you know like M19 which is a ww2 anti air vehicle?
Im a japan main, my planes turn the best however its kind of cheesy that the lead indicator negates energy and bnz tactics for planes that rely on them such as the Fw190 series. It just makes turn rate everything (too important)
i actually find the lead indicators to be realistic, because the soldier piloting the plane most likely has been training for a long time and has a good understanding of the aircraft’s weapons that the person playing the game wouldnt have
thats your job to determine that lead understanding, in real ife pilots wiated to be few hundred meters away before shooting, not sniping from 2km range
Nah, I think players those play the plane often actually have more time using those weapon more than real pilot (in game ofc)
Real pilot might flew dozens of missions and didn’t met an enemy
