No panzerfausts could reach him, any time a pak40 was built he’d just move to a diff part of the grey zone.
All of his kills was from camping in the grey zone. Needless to say he was garbage and got destroyed with 0 kills before he got into his tank…

I would argue that the problem is either map design or grayzone mechanics. I would prefer any “safe zones” to be as obscured by terrain as possible. I’ve also played with the idea that kills from the grayzone should grant half XP for example, or even some fortnite fog pushing people out after a while. There’s a lot the devs could do to alleviate the problem, it’s all about choosing the right way.
definitely agree. Obscuring visibility while you are in the grey zone is an easy one.
People are going to always find away to grief, find a way to exploit the game but this is a bush league exploit IMO.
Why don’t you take a plane and bomb the sh!t out of him?

not everyone has plane in battle/premium slots, and counting on teammates is suicidal.

I don’t have this problem much, because I dodge conquest games. But, I have encountered this before even in invasion/assault. My main tactic is just to jump in a tank/aircraft. I don’t play Berlin, but I’d assume the t34 gives the germans problems. Same thing in Normandy, the jumbo sherman gives the panzer a bit of trouble. The most success I have is blowing up one side of their tracks before going for the kill, that’s if infantry didn’t blow me up with the piat.
But he still could be countered with planes, other tanks. Problem here appears when too OP tank like Jumbo camps in grey zone, IMO
I just fought a Jumbo on Normandy the other day who grinded kills on the first obj just sitting in one spot (Grey zone on the beach), he died not long after the obj was taken and underpreformed afterwards.
Agree, mostly reason for this problem is not grey zone itself but players who don’t counter grey zone campers with their own tank/planes or too unbalanced tanks like T34 vs Pz4 or Jumbo vs every axis Normandy tank. So i don’t think they need to hassle with grey zone but balance things more equipment wise (evenly good equipment avaibility for both teams).
People who need to lean heavily on exploitive tactics like that tend to lack in depth of skill. It’s one of the reasons why we should discourage or prevent people from leaning on such shallow tactics.
You can’t right now. The only way for you to know would be to play on the other side and remember where it ends.
