Remove penetration indicator and give us realistic tank sights

Yes please for real sights and added realism. WoT Indicator is so Noob. Also REMOVE the “Killcam”. Most dumb feature and a one that’s inherited from WT. It’s a World Breaker of Game Immersion. Sci-Fi Star Wars Tech. it’s beyond ridiculous. Completely useless and utterly unrealistic, be gone with it

you do realize that the pen indicator is also in war thunder right?

In arcade, yes
In realistic, no

i know, i’ve played both modes in it, but the person i replied to said “wot indicator”

I support the idea of giving each and every tank their historically appropriate sights.

I don’t know how to feel about that pen indicator change suggestion. Currently, I can’t seem to pen tanks even with that indicator.

I don’t know if Enlisted is more like Arcade or Realistic since it feels like a mix of both. How would new players learn where to shoot tanks? Will there be a simulation screen same as in WT?

That’s because all the damage models are fucked

This in Enlisted would help a lot more than an indicator as you can at least simulate the actual shot.

If that simulation comes in then I’ll happily trade the reticle for it. Also the historical sights I wouldn’t mind. Somehow people need to increase the skill gap between themselves and new players. Even if that means studying a tank’s weakspots for some time

I agree having a pen marker tell you there is a tank hiding in that bush is a little OP…it shouldn’t be a thing…but then again other than machine guns tracer rounds (every third or fifth round) shouldn’t be a thing either…we should have to rely on muzzle flash to locate enemy troops and tanks that are hidden…if we want to talk realism here. But I don’t see that going away either.

I wouldn’t mind the penetration indicator going away, though I would feel for the casual players who didn’t come from War Thunder as they’d be at a fairly large disadvantage.

I am, however, against the historical tanks sights. Those things have too much going on and would simply distract or inhibit clarity. Historical or not I couldn’t care less, just keep those sights away from me lol.

Actually, the historical sights are very easy to use, even if they look daunting at first.

the penetration indicator gives away the hidden tanks and at guns position

My comment didn’t reference their ease of use, but that they are cluttered, have too much stuff, and hamper clarity. Especially the first image OP made. That not is even an opinion but an objective statement when you compare that first image to the current sights in the game.

I’ll leave those sights for Hell Let Loose or Post Scriptum. In a casual game like this the streamlined approach is simply more approachable.

I also play IL-2 Tank Crew, so I guess I’m used to how they look and function. The illustrations look far worse than the real thing I might add.
