Remove knock down system/ add little more realistic damage system

I would like to see knock down system removed after player has been shot. It just ruins immersion and gets annoying because player just crawls away. I would love to see damage system atleast similar to the hell let loose or red orchestra 2 (atleast simplified) (so when you shot player it is satisfying). It will also prevent players from charging out like chickens.

As it stands, this system only has a chance of happening and is not guaranteed. It happens if you are supposed to take lethal damage, and the closer the lethal damage is to not having killed you, the higher the chance.

Soldiers have 10 health, and this down mechanic is basically guaranteed at 10.1 damage, and then falls off to impossible to happen at 15 damage. These numbers are increased if vitality perk is used, however, increasing all of these numbers by 35%.

I personally do not particularly like or dislike it.

I would at least like to add dragging like in VBS2.
If your briandead bot gets downed near cover you can drag them back to safety.

I like the knockdown system, considering how many gunshot wounds are non fatal.

yeah a new system wouldn’t be bad, i would also suggest the area of damage or the amount taken effect heal time. a shot to the arm should be a quick patch not a 10 sec heal.

Self revive is the reason I’m no longer playing this trash game, Downed 5 people in front of me and they can self revive faster and kill me… who ever put this in the game should be fired.

you know what’s worse?

the newer perk that literally allows you to revive or heal your self in two seconds.

I think the system is fine for now, but I do agree it needs a rework to be more realistic and less ridiculous. I think a medic class would do the game good, along with increased bleed-out timers but on the flipside of not being able to revive yourself.

Just run to them and Kill them with mele it is not hard? Ussles you are in building then just go to other position and kill them because they gona think you are still in the same spot from where they ware shoted first

goot a proof:

this dude was full health, i downed him, and in two seconds, i repeat; TWO seconds, he just revived him self.

this is getting even somewhat worse than the vitality perk.
