Remove killcam or at the very least adjust it

Glad it’s gone so much better for realism

but it’s not?

Yeah it’s not gone or adjusted just yet

Haven’t seen any kill cam on series X

By killcam, we mean it highlights whoever killed you in red and turns the camera towards them. It’s not a real killcam like in War Thunder and other games.

For beta purposes especially the killcam should stay to identify when some shady shit happens like getting shot with precision through an entire house. Still not sure if it’s wallhacks or godmode veteran bots because it usually comes from MP 41s

Now that we can play Lone Fighters (PvP) I as a player understand that KillCam is unnecessary.

In Lone Fighters (PvP) Mode it shows the position of the player or an entire Fire Team.

In 100% of the cases the player that died, respawns and returns in the same place where he was “killed” to get the enemy and in 99% of the cases he eliminates the enemy.

Many times this eliminates the chance of capturing the enemy flag, because it already knows your position.

Look at Hell Let Loose and Post-Scriptum, there’s no hint on where is the guy that shot you, only your logic and your eyes must determine where the bullet came from and how to avoid that.

Plus, the games will be longer, which is not so bad, too often I see games lasting like 10 or 15 minutes which is great but barely enjoyable; I find it more ‘relaxing’ and immersive to have an assault lasting 30min or an hour, even if we’re getting completely shredded it’s so epic looking

Like during D-Day, on Normandy Campaign, there’s already the tracers on the MG-42’s lighting us like Christmas Trees in the bunkers, they don’t need an highlight if 50 tracers shots pummel the beach from everywhere.

But this game is not trying to be post scriptum or hell let loose. And for good reason. That style of games is a very saturated market. Enlisted is trying to be its own game that is in that area between arcade and realistic. Its designed to reward fast paced gameplay and has a quick time to kill. Its not supposed to be 24/7 campfest like the other games you’ve mentioned.

The problem is that the distance between the respawn rally point and the Flag is very small (unlike in War Thunder where the distances are large), which makes the one who was killed come back very quickly to the same spot to get you.

Otherwise, I agree with your point that Enlisted wants to follow its own line.

And that’s not even taking the fact you “respawn” on your squadmates until your squad dies into account

Indeed, this is so ridiculous. Whenever I get killed I either switch to a bot and go straight at him or if it’s my last guy I just switch to radio squad on respawn and rain artillery right at the position of the enemy who killed me. This shoudln’t be possible.
