So you are defending the killcam because your computer can’t run the game? Because you play at a disadvantage everybody else have to suffer because of that? Games aren’t meant to be played at 20FPS and building a game for the people that shouldn’t be playing the game is a huge mistake
saying he should play the game is a bit overkill, but it is true that the game should be developed for the average player running the game at 60 FPS.
even if i had 2000 FPS it wouldnt be fun to get whole squad killed for price of nohting
my point is to not turn a game into endless camping campaign
i think this whole problem could be solved like Rising Storm ( RO2 ) Did,
whenever you die, it doesn’t actually give away the sniper position. but insthead, give the direction where the bullet came from. so the dead players that is going to switch can hide avoiding that direction, or take cover and try to hunt him. since in reallife people can tell where bullets are coming from. ( i think )
Red orchestra is the prime example of a well done simcade FPS
I’m not saying he shouldn’t play, just saying that playing a game at 20FPS isn’t really good for anyone
It’s not fun getting a jump on someone oblivious just to get yourself highlighted and them mowing you down with their SMG filled squad either
Allow only few soldier types to get access to kill camps also allow only snipers or recon squad guys to ping enemy positions and vehicles!. This will in turn make the squads and some soldier types very important in the battlefield
I agree but with a limited if the squad leader get kill then. the kill cam show up but if you AI get wipe out then you die last then kill cam will not show. if this not go as plane then remove it completely.
Nope, in RO2, most ppl use death roaming (free roaming).
Well, dosent help while enemies using exploit and you can not shoot them at all.
it’s irrelevant?
in enlisted you don’t have any camera when you are dead. nor the ability to look anywhere else.
so i think this could be a fix.
One of the things I love most about tf2 is when you get decapitated by a demoknight your camera follows the severed head. You still get some view of the world if you look closely but you must be skilled to really make anything out of it. Simply keeping the camera first person while the soldier falls down.
I would suggest to add noise value for every weapon, and mark only loud kills
This happened to me, I was in a forest area and killed a lone player killing our squads. He suddenly comes back with a tank just to wipe out my squad, I find that very unfair that people can just instantly revenge kill you like that.
So either make it like others suggested, a direction where you died, make it a perk to hide yourself from killcams (like for snipers, etc), or just completely remove it.
Agreed
Killcam is designed for anti-camping, just for this situation.
And Enlisted is a somewhat arcade game, even without friendlyfire. Preventing camping is what it supposed to.
In more realism games, with very limited lifes, camping is the playstyle.
Then why do we have 5 squads made to do just that?
Snipers
Mortars
Gunners
Bombers
Engineers
If the game ever separated between arcade and realistic similar to Warthunder they should keep the killcam in arcade and remove it for RB
Agreed, Killcam needs to go.
Its so unrewarding going to a snipers nest and being picked off after you kill a real player.
As a sniper one of the best tactics right now is to just not shoot at players because it gives away your position.
Whenever I die to superior positioning I’m impressed/half annoyed that I now know that person’s exact position.
