just remove Jumbo from the normandy campaign alltogether please.
It never fought in the normandy campaign and is way too OP, any german AT gun or tank has huge issues with penetrating it, let alone destroying it.
Dynamites are also not working very well against it due to its vast armor.
It can be easily replaced by another tank, like sherman firefly or Churchill MK. IV to present the british side in the allied armor.
So to conclude, from both historical and balance perspective, this tank must go.

Yep or just another normal Sherman variant. 76mm M4, 105mm M4. Idk about adding british vehicles to the American beach unless they start adding brit squads and stuff.
I dont think they will add British here, as all of Campaign squads have new pictures that represents them, soo i think they will stay there, sadly even Jumbo has one soo i don’t think it will go away.
But i would rather see there M4A1 76 as it can easily compete with Panzer IV, they can both destroy each anothern, and has a little worse HE than 75mm Sherman.
No. Why u have to remove a tank which gives players fun in favor of “balance”? I play Germany but never complain about they having jumbo. It’s about having nothing to fight against.
Agree with almost everything you said except TNT packs. They easily destroy jumbos from the side and jumbos turn very slowly making it hard to avoid them
Iirc all 76 versions are wetrack. They were in huge numbers available even before D-Day, they had a lot of them ready for Invasion, but they didn’t used them because crews and commanders didn’t wanted them, they liked 75mm because of better HE shells. They wanted better HE shells because like 70% of theyr targets were soft targets. They used them later because of CatPanzers. They still liked 75mm until end of war more. And even 75mm have been good against German tanks, because crews used smoke shells on for example Panthers, and crew thinked they are on fire and bailed out.
I think the Firefly would better represent the joint British and American forces, which would have a much higher penetration but no filler on the AP round, and a slightly worse HE round as well.
Ok so then give me a tiger 2 in Normandy. Unlike the Jumbo, it was actually historically accurate. I will totally enjoy nailing poor little Stuarts with my Tiger 2 while being practically invincible to all Allied tanks from the front. “Balance”.
Nothing is exempt from balance changes. Especially stuff that is not historically accurate. And if the balance change/solution is to flat out remove it, so be it.

No, no not really. A 76mm jumbo would still struggle against a Tiger 2. Meanwhile, it would make all previously unlocked tanks useless. You need to compare EVERY matchup between ALL different tanks, not just “oh top tank from nation A and B are balanced” - that doesn’t mean shit if you need to work for ages to obtain them and all other tanks are getting stomped by these high level vehicles.

But again that’s completely irrelevant if the vehicle isn’t historically accurate to begin with which is the main reason for it to be removed, alongside Pz3B and BA-11.
Tiger 1 cannot reliably penetrate a Jumbo, unlike the Panther, afaik. And once again you make stuarts and normal shermans suffer, so no thanks.
The reason I think the Firefly is pointless is because the Sherman’s 75 can already pen everything so there’s nothing to gain from a giant slow-loading solid shot cannon.
Wet rack Sherman would at least get the armored turret.
Yeah this would be very dangerous, because UK fought Tigers in Normandy and it would be seen as justification to add them to fight in mainly US dedicated campaign. Not to mention powercreep initiated by doing so.
To be fair fighters in Berlin were pretty much useless because they didn´t have any rockets or light bombs and no one from the enemy side ever bothered to take a plane (that was at least my luck)
I play as axis on normandy, i do not agree with removing jumbo, if you have a PzIV you can still knock it out from the front if you shoot the mg port on the hull. i especially do not agree with adding churchills or british vehicles to american campaing, i already hate the brit weps with americans, I’m sure in future panthers and tigers will be added and allies will have a tougher time then us penning them
