Was chasing a guy and every time I took a shot at him with my k98, he jumped. He jumped 5 times, evaded my 5 shots, then turned back and shot me with a rifle grenade. People jumping over and over while moving forward and bunny-hopping is something extremely annoying to see. Not that it gives people some sort of advantage (I probably missed my 5 shots because I aimed poorly), but it kind of breaks the atmosphere and realism of the game. Plus soldiers in a war and carrying heavy equipment would rarely do something that dumb and exhausting.
Bunny-hopping is something hated in other video-games and it gives Enlisted a bad reputation when people see it in-game (of something lame, cheap, unrealistic and un-tactical, plus full of exploits). Sure a soldier can do 5 jumps in a row⊠on the same position, but doing this while moving forward should heavily deplete someoneâs stamina. This is my suggestion: only allow 1 or 2 jumps while moving forward for a soldier with average stamina. This would kill unrealistic bunny-hopping and improve the game for many people.
Yeah, itâs really annoying.
Itâs not really a problem in terms of ballance but makes the gameplay more frustrating, especially if you use bolt action rifles.
(I also used to complain about this but experience made me change my mind.)
It is currently extra bad because of the new flasks. ANY character with ANY perk setup can bunny hop now afaik. Personally I would like to see it removed. Stop stamina regen during jumping.
