Remove Deserter Penalties please.
It doesn’t solve the deserter problems at all. Instead, it traps grinding players in meaningless matches and gives player who have finished the tech trees an privilege.
We need an actual mode selection. Players need too queue for the maps they want to play on
and the mode for them. There wouldn’t be much need to punish anyone for leaving.
There is no real deserter solution. Players disconnect from games for many reasons.
Adding more features would be best then spending time thinking of a penalty system that works.
How dare you to suggest alternate for mighty desertion penalty? you should just accept and enjoy these matches!.. seriously though, there are better ways to find solution but no, they just care about punishing people in everyway lol
The penalty does nothing to hurt vets as most I assume have their squads and tech tree’s finished, it only hurts newer players. It doesn’t affect me at all.
Oh you have the stats to back it up? According to Major, the desertion penalty has had a large positive effect on the games. Don’t be a selfish deserter and you will be happier

he is not a selfish player by deserting a match already sucks , bug , map gives more advantage for ai xray vision , maps sucks badly or just because of bunch of crappy console players cant do anything
banning players deserted 3 times will do anything too , it will desecrease even more enlisted players .
What penalty? -20 exp isn’t a penalty; Grow a pair.

until there are statistics disclosed with transparency, all the deserter penalty is is Gaijin nerfing grind speeds by 20% while appearing to placate to loud complainers who want this game to be a competitive shooter.
Desertion penalty shouldn’t apply in the following cases:
“being made to play out a game YOU SIGNED UP FOR” =/= “competitive shooter”
