Soviet squad have 2 SF and japan only have 1 Hei rifle
How you call that event “Even Fight”
Ohh look at the SU-2 (M-82) Its absolutely insane xD It has so many MGs that even the Zero has no chance against this thing xD
tbf, and maybe its just me, but I think the fedrov is kinda a piece of shit, idk why, but the 3 round burst just isnt it, and the semi auto is nothing special.
But yeah as Life said, the Su-2 is fucking nuts, like insanely OP, even just in normal matches, I have no clue why people value the IL-2 over it.
Saying that, yeah the balance is fucked as well, Japanese got mega fucked over with its lineup, I have to imagine the person who made those presets only plays the soviets and not the japs, which wouldnt surprise me in which case.
They are not located in the same squad lol
Only one br5 rifle is present in a squad at a time, so it doesnt matter
What? I don’t understand what you mean. The Japanese have hei in four squads. (One in the APC squad, one in the assault, one in the MG and one in the engineering). In contrast, the Soviets have the AVT 40 20 in their APC and MG squads, and fedorov in the assault and engineers. This is actually in Japan’s favor, as they have four of the strongest SFs in the game. In contrast, the Soviets only have two AVT 40 20s.
But hey, if you have a problem with Soviet diversity, I’m willing to trade all the Fedorovs for AVT 40s and that would make things fair. Four Hei against four AVTs.
type hei AR sucks without ammo bag.
I’m very comfortable with them. But you could give everyone a bag of ammo. Of course, provided that the junk Fedorovs are replaced with AVT 40 20.
L take
so you are saying that type hei AR with 60 rounds is excellent weapon for pacific maps? where there are loads of engagements over 20m and it needs 2 bullets to down someone? that is like having AVT or fg42 with 30 rounds.
Just like any other SF rifle.
IMO AVT-40 20 with its low fire rate and high damage is better without ammo pouch.
for japan it is even worse cause they have open maps with lots of mid range engagement and type hei AR needs 2 hits to down on that range, while other SF rifles need 1. so 60 rounds of japan feel more like 30 rounds of fg42/t20/avt.
Sounds like a you issue, I have no problems with the gun in the event
My Emperoruuu!!!
How can you say such a thing!
The Zero is perfectly capable of destroying the SU… it just gets grazed a bit from the rear gunners…
It’s why I’m thankful for the carrier system. Ppl complain that sov planes start in the air… but… they also cannot repair like we do! I repaired the same zero about 6 times last match, and took down a good amount of SU and Yak with it
I admit it’s not new pilot friendly however.
If the guy can play the SU from witch side you gonna attack it ? He has good turn rate and many guns in 2 vs 2 matches you will have to fight this plane and the Yak fighter 1 vs 2 since your ground attacker cant do nothing to support you. And this ground attacker is more then capable on its own to damage the Zero. You only hope is to kill the SU or the Yak when they are separated. But when they move together you cant do much. Even 1 vs 1 the Zero has very small ammo capacity and its made of paper there is really better planes then the Zero even in the German tech tree IAR has the bombs and the Ammo capacity not everything is flight characteristics specially if slight damage can reduce the performance. SU is much stronger opponent then the Lighting since really you need to approach it from the sides it has very strong protective armaments even in a dog fight you can get very bad hits from it. Really the SU is the most protected BR II plane. Very annoying in the hand of a good player. I really prefer to fight the Yak then this thing. If you learn to dog fight in a second position with the gunner with the SU you can ruin the day for many slow dog fighters like the Zero.
If it were me, I would prefer them to replace the damn Type 4 rifle with something else, such as the Hino Komuro M1904 Rifle or Hei rifle late
