Automatic rifles have become too ubiquitous in the current BR4-5, in ww2 they were only issued to troops for service as a simplified alternative to machine guns when they were not available (e.g. avt40)
And the fg rifle was not widely issued to paratroopers, the stg was not issued in sufficient numbers for frontline personnel to field even if it was produced in large numbers
The t20/试製丙號自動小銃 then even more so only existed in the experimental stage.
Consequently, allocating today’s autoguns to machine gunners/automatic riflemen would be a better option (I know you’ve had plans for automatic riflemen before)
I consider level 5 kind of the unrealistic outlaw class of the game, so I am fine with it the way it is. The only real problem I see for level 5 is when DF forces my level 3 squad to participate against level 5 because of their dumbass soft rule.
A couple days ago, for the first time in damn near half a year, most of my games were competitive. I played mostly level 3 Russian as I am just starting to build those squads. Fast forward to today, I go and try and play a level 3 Allies and it was the perfect storm shit show. I can’t say I was in a level 5 match, however the Japs seemed to have some serious firepower to go along with some apparent clueless team mates, and going into battle with bots who couldn’t be trained to wipe their own butts, let alone duck for cover or stay where you order them to. So, I am taking some time off to curb my massive irritation level which is why I am on the forum.
I’ll be perfectly honest, I am starting to struggle to think of reasons to keep playing, but for some reason, I keep hoping DF will actually worry about all the people complaining that their game performance sucks and actually for once, DO SOMETHING to fix it. But, if I were holding my breath, i would have been dead a year ago waiting for them to fix it. This game won’t die, but it will eventually fade like War Thunder. I played the shit out of War Thunder for a year or so, got tired and walked away. I have only played WT maybe once in the past two years, and Enlisted is going to have the same fate with me, especially with the horrible game play that is the norm now. I will eventually just have had enough and move on to something else.
BR V is the auto spam sweatfest. That’s just how it is. If you get tired of it, may I recommend dropping down to BR II? It’s much more relaxed down there, and it’s where I spend most of my time when a faction’s High Tier decides it wants to crap the bed in every single match
