Yea it is very dumb.
As an example why:
I want to buy 2 slots for 1 campaign. So can get the 5€ - 500 gold and 10€ - 1000 gold and buy both with a little bit left to spare.
But no no no - you need premium, so atleast 100 gold for 1 day! So now i have to buy a bigger bundle and spend more money. Which is really annoying
It’s not dumb, it’s predatory and yeah it’s exactly as you said cause you actually have to pay 15 euro by default. It’s certainly not an oversite and has been brought up multiple times since the game went OBT, they want you to PAY THEM TO HAVE THE OPTION TO PAY THEM and while at that they also force you to spend 5 TIMES MORES than what you need in ORDER TO PAY THEM TO HAVE THE OPTION TO PAY THEM.

Yeah… Welcomed a friend in Enlisted about four days ago. Showed him the ropes and all…
“You can have more squads in play by buying slots. First one is very cheap, but price goes up incrementally.”
“Says here I must be premium to buy any new slots”
“Wut?”
Another wasted sale here. They should review this. Especially now that premium is LESS attractive than it used to be. Cost just as much, but they ofc removed half academy time (no academy duh) and the +100 reserve slots don’t mean much today. Needless to say my friend didn’t buy slots nor got premium time.

START ASKING FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS
• Free to play as it is a long hard grind and still have inferior squads and weapons in the end, however game is still playable
■ $5 a month subscription gives you battle pass, and grind to premium weapons, simply gives the low budget player access to a percentage of premium weapons, vehicles. 1 additional squad slot
■ $10 a month subscription battle pass plus some gold, faster grind to premium weapons/vehicles, almost all premium weapons/squads, 2 additional squad slots.
- Micro Transaction Premium, just as it is.
The health of the game should improve as more players move from free grind to paying subscriptions. Fewer will drop because they now have a chance at premium stuff for a fraction of the cost.
The game balance should improve, maybe weak players are still weak but they have the same weapons as premium and believe they have a fighting chance of longer survival and more kills.
The drain on the wallet will be painless, instead of having to scratch together $50+ for each campaign.
Yet deep pocket players can still have premium stuff when they want it, pay as you go premium .
