Remember the time when Factions had strenghts and weaknesses?

The merge was the biggest mistake that they implemented. They should have kept campaigns but made weapon transfer universal. For example, if you unlocked the M1 Garand in Normandy then it should automatically be available for purchase in both Tunisia and the Pacific.

If you need to frontally rush an AA as plane and expose yourself so much that it proves that deadly, I believe there is a different issue - skill.

Because being honest a single HVAR from P-47, who can maneuver and spot, takes out an entire AA emplacement along with anyone in the 5 meter vicinity even if it is not direct hit onto the AA. Some pilots are quite untouchable, but I guess we need to cater to the less fortunate players I guess, otherwise it might be too difficult to play, especially if they had to try.

And how, pray tell, am I supposed to “spot” the AA gun that literally does not render until it’s like 500m away from the plane? At which range anyone who isn’t awful at using an AA can 1 tap your plane no matter what you do?

You know planes can spam spotting at a range of almost 2km and mark their own targets quite efficiently right? Rendering does not play into this as you can mark a tank that you yourself are not even capable of seeing at said distance.

have you ever actually flown a plane in Enlisted? Engineer built weapons and the AA gun specifically, for whatever reason, are hard to tag even from the ground when looking directly at them…from the air half the time they won’t get tagged right when I’m actively strafing the gunner off it with cannons at point blank range and you think I can somehow magically find one built between a bunch of trees just by clicking v

Flown with both US, Soviet and GE planes for enough games to know how the mechanic can be abused to easily pin-point own targets and allow for less exposing engagement. Have had the fortune/misfortune of having played with many who know and use this method too.

Just had to play against US some months ago and those high BR pilots were untouchable, often shooting rockets even before AA got the lead indicator.

I can not however vouch it does not have something to do with your graphics settings or own PC/Laptop or Console. So it might differ player from player.

Sure. I can remember where an existing AA gun is. I can see one stupid enough to reveal it’s position by spraying it’s rounds.

Actually decent AA spammers will just build one in the middle of nowhere, put the rest of their squad in cover and 1-3 tap anyone who gets close
And guess what…even if you do hit the AA gun…they have 5 more engineers to repeat that nonsense again. Meanwhile the untouchable KT is murdering your team for free

If you can not remember, that seems more like a you problem does it not? You only have to remember the approximate area and spam V from plane. Secondly doing a fly-by at a comfortable distance if you have the intuition of predicting potential AA seems to work fine for exposing their positions, otherwise also not flying straight during doing CAS can do wonders to avoid being shot down when AA suddenly appears.

Thirdly, even if he hides the rest of squad, that should allow enough time to deal with other threats in the meanwhile, unless you spammed him with your whole loadout, at which point, the issue is the pilot.

I give up
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about or are basing your “ideas” on the fact you usually face completely hapless teams

I have always agreed to return the 4-barrelled anti-aircraft guns to the battlefield
But officials don’t think so
